''Deja Vu, could be I'm dreamin',,,''

Last night I spent in deep reflection. I reside in a series of mirrors.

Hmm. That seemed funnier in my head.

Anyhow, this is what I have to share today:

I contest that this is the deepest song I'll ever hear in my life, and perhaps you'll ever hear in yours (if you have another, please share!). First of all, it is a work of art in its own right: flow is ill, beat is perfect. I could listen to it a thousand times on that criteria alone.

But this song transcends rap. Anyone who has a mind that asks 'why' can draw from this song. In ''Interview with a Vampire'', rapper Ras Kass dialogues aloud with God and Lucifer, trying to get answers to the questions that plague us all. Among some of the thought-provoking lines:

''Inside my mother's womb, doomed to return to the tomb. Or was it from the dead I was raised? All to soon to pay, on Judgement Day? Is this beginning or the ending? Died sinnin'. Still winnin', still grinnin', descendin', verdict still pendin', born pretendin', three hundred billion men, women and children,^^DREAM^^ Deja vu, could be I'm dreamin', but we all ask for devine reason while still breathin' and until leavin'. Who, what, where, when, how? But most of all why? ^^WHY WHAT?^^ Do we live just to die?''

''Did God create man or did man need to create God?''

'' 'To be or not to be' was man's question since inception; I think therefore I am was man's perception,''

Just a philosophical overload. A HIGHLY recommended listen for all who've ever wondered about the nature of...this...reality we are in.
